MOCAP Mapping is a merge of motion capture technologies and 3D video mapping. With motion capture technology, motions from an actor, wearing a special suit, are real-time copied onto a 3D character. The actor in the suit controls the 3D character and is in contact with a live audience, using video and audio equipment. With this technology a vivid live interactive show can be performed and, combined with 3D video mapping, this can be done on a very large scale.
A MOCAP Mapping projection requires a longer production time than the regular 3D video mapping. It can however be executed all over the world, on almost any canvas and in every language.
